About MSP Sheets
Focused Excel workbooks for the operational decisions behind managed IT services. One task, visible assumptions, and a working copy your team can understand.
Built around the work between systems
An MSP can have a service desk, monitoring platform, and billing system and still need a clear way to scope a customer handoff or compare a contract scenario. MSP Sheets is a workbook library for these bounded tasks. It is aimed at external managed IT service providers serving customers, rather than staffing vendor management or general employee administration.
The library is organized into six connected workflows: Clients, Service, Assets, Security, Projects, and Finance. Choose the operational question first; the categories help narrow it down.
A workbook is not another source of truth
Use a spreadsheet to structure a review, explain a calculation, or prepare a handoff. Keep authoritative customer records in your approved systems. A ticket summary does not establish SLA compliance, an asset list is not a monitoring tool, and a security checklist is not a certification.
For pricing and planning, identify the unit—user, device, site, hour, or contract—and the period before comparing totals. Separate illustrative figures from recorded results. A useful model makes exclusions and assumptions easy to find rather than hiding them behind a polished total.
Understand the file before using it
The individual workbook page is the place to check its scope, sheets, inputs, examples, and limitations. Availability means a file is actually published, not simply that a topic is planned. Category counts reflect published documents only.
Content and files are prepared with software assistance. An editorial credit is not a claim of professional certification, a personal endorsement, or manual review of every possible input. Check the stated behavior in your version of Excel and test a known example after editing formulas or references.
Keep the working copy under your control
Save an original, work on a copy, and use the minimum approved data needed for the task. Do not put credentials, recovery codes, confidential security findings, or unnecessary personal information into a workbook. Share a summary or internal reference when that is enough.
These resources support operational organization. They do not replace your customer agreement, security process, accounting policy, or professional advice for a specific decision.
Corrections start with a clear example
If a formula, explanation, or assumption needs attention, contact MSP Sheets with the page URL, affected sheet or cell, application version, and a fictional example. The form records the request in a private site inbox; it does not automatically send email or promise a response deadline.
